This particular cuvée comes from Pinot Noir vines planted in 1975 in the Grand Cru of Les Marechaudes. The 2016 was fermented with about 80% whole bunches. \"The 2016 Corton Les Marechaudes Grand Cru has a pretty nose of smudged cranberry and strawberry fruit, not the most delineated you will find in this vintage but there is decent vigour here. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp tannin, quite masculine and very linear. I would have liked more flesh to come through toward the finish. It feels a little short and the 80% whole bunch just juts out toward the finish.
