Originating from the most excellent vintage of 1990 in Germany's largest wine growing region: the Pfalz; it was no surprise that I have ended up in the wine industry. Riesling was in my diet from an early age & is still coursing through my veins. Since my mid-teens I have been working in hospitality at top hotels, restaurants & bars throughout the UK. This has included Assistant Head Sommelier at a renowned London restaurant & Manager of a Cocktail Bar & Night Club in Aberdeen. I have always had a keen interest in spirits & cocktails, to the point where I successfully took part in several competitions.

I later honed my wine skills & traded the bar life for that of a sommelier & it was at this time that I also underwent training at the WSET & the Court of Master Sommeliers.

I am delighted to have joined Hedonism & being a member of this great team. I look forward to taking part in more of the exciting events & being part of this project to create the leading world wine shop where I am passionate about helping customers choose their wines & spirits.

On my days off I like to discover the best 'hidden gem' bars & restaurants in London & spent my holidays in wine regions around the world - South Africa, France, Italy & beyond!
